Program for ITovation 4 June 2008 ITovation 2.0 in the news

ITovation “works”, and is one of the bright spots at NTNU. I would love to spread the word and increase awareness using the archived broadcasts available through mediasite. In this regard, it would help if in future, the multi-media center could add some cue-points to the very beginning of each speaker’s presentation.

Example: The Nick Donofrio lecture doesn’t start until minute 17:19 ( but there is no interim cue points between the opening shots and the second slide (minute 24:14).

Though the musical interludes, drumming and several introductions are interesting for certain audiences, other viewers might not persevere through these 17 minutes.

Thank you for your comment. You are right. We should do as you propose, and even make the streaming videos better presented on the web. Instead of writing like “Part 1” we should write what is actually presented.
